Introduction
You will find Patio behind the green and white colors of a typical Portuguese house.
At a crossroad of major connections, Patio will be a good resting place with access at several historical sites, nature reserves, several sports and the beach.
The Space
On the ground floor this hidden gem offers you a living room and a separate dining room, two bedrooms as well as a full bathroom and a powder room. Still on the main floor, opened to the relaxing patio on the back, you’ll find a fully updated kitchen with a breakfast nook. From the kitchen you’ll be able to access the laundry room and a typical and rustic outside kitchen.
The loft area, presents itself with another full bathroom, a family room and a third bedroom. It also has access to a spacious balcony that covers the gazebo.
On the back you will find the Patio, a private outdoors area perfect for gatherings and outside meals. The Patio has access to the wine celar (adega), a one car covered parking area, as well as the garden that flows all the way to the farm in the back.
Guest Access
Almost all the house is available. Only a couple of storage rooms are reserved to the owners.
We love the idea of receiving our guests in person.
At check-in we supply information about the house and the use of its equipment, as well as a small document with an area map with local shops, restaurants and other activities that can be found in the region.
You will be left undisturbed, but we will always be a phone call away.
You will find our century old house very close to all you need, but you will mainly notice a family atmosphere that will give you a peaceful and relaxing feeling.
House rules
Cleaning and new linens are included once a week.
If you are interested in extra cleaning, please let us know.
Smoking is not allowed inside closed areas.
Please leave all furniture and decorations where you found them.

The Neighborhood
You will reach PATIO in the very first square close to the village entrance.
With pleasant neighbors you will find a butcher, coffee shop, mini market and even the headquarters of our local music Banda Bingre.
You can easily walk through the village, local woods or even specific trails like “Percurso de Bocage” along a branch of Ria de Aveiro.
Getting Around
The house is located 750 meters (0.5 mi) from the train station, that easily connects you through the “Linha do Norte” to places like Aveiro or Porto

- Barra e Costa Nova beeches : 30 min
- Porto: 45 min
- Coimbra: 45 min
